City-Kino Auditorium 3, Munich

The smallest auditorium at the City-Kino Munich was converted with the stipulation that it be done in the style of an auditorium design (by Batek Architekten) of the Delphi Lux, Berlin. The completely monochrome red auditorium is structured by way of horizontally and vertically arranged LED light strips, which is reminiscent of the artist Mondrian. Different light colours produce exciting effects. With blue light, the auditorium appears blueish black, giving the appearance of an altogether different space. As soon as the soft white stage light is switched on, a colour gradient is created, ranging from blueish black in the back, to violet, to bright red in the front rows. Multicoloured strips of light change the look of this space. And, many additional options of light and colour design are available.
